Export List

  1. Open the Reports folder
  2. Select Custom Reports
  3. Double click Export subscribers by list in CSV format 
  4. Select the first subscriber list and then click Run Report
    1. Make sure to export only the active subscribers
  5. Your browser will then pop up a prompt at which time you should save the file to your local directory
  6. Open this .csv file and verify that the first column contains the email addresses of those in the subscriber list you selected

Import the newly created file into the new account

  1. Sign into the new account
     
  2. Open the Subscribers & Lists folder
  3. Select Import
  4.  Click Import into Existing List
  5. Select the list that you would like to merge with the first list
  6. Click Upload from File
  7. Click Browse
  8. Select the csv file you had just created from the export, and then click Next
  9. Map the column data with the custom fields stored in the account and select ignore for the remaining fields that do not need to be merged

Unsubscribe subscribers from the old account

Now that the subscribers are moved into another account, you have the option to unsubscribe all of these subscribers from the original account.  Once these are imported back into this list, it will flag these subscribers as unsubscribed from all lists.

  1. Sign into the old account
  2. Open the Tools folder
  3. Select Do Not Send Import
  4. Click Import into Existing List
  5. Select the original list
  6. Click Upload from File
  7. Click Browse
  8. Select the csv file you had just created from the export and then click Next
  9. Map the column data with the custom fields stored in the account and select ignore for the remaining fields that do not need to be merged
